It is important to learn what to do, if you ever get locked in a room, either in your home or someplace else, and how to get out. • Remain calm. • Check to see if there are any other exits. • Wait by the door. • Use a phone if available and working. • Make noise with an object. You will soon wear out your voice if you scream, so it is better to pick up an object and use it to bang on the door, or a pipe or something. If nothing else is available, use a belt buckle, some keys, a shoe ect. Try to break your way out or find something to pry the door open with.
