How Do You Feed A Baby Bird?
• Birds can carry lice and all sorts of germs so it would be best to get some gloves to pick it up. • Get a large shoe box to use as its temporary nest. • Place a soft old towel or any other type of cloth you don’t use in the shoe box. Some grass and dead leaves would also suffice. • Gently, pick the baby bird up and place in the box. • Gather some earthworms. They can easily be dug out from the ground after a rainy day. This is the baby bird’s food. Feed the baby bird one worm at a time, making sure it’s mouth is open. Let it consume the whole worm before giving another to prevent choking.
