Finding an inmate released on parole can be a daunting task for everyday citizens, but resources are available. They differ according to whether the prisoner was in a State or a Federal prison system, and according to the prisoner’s release date. Older release dates are often not yet computerized, so research is done by hand. You should be able to find at least some leads, whether you are looking for a relative or are a victim concerned about a prisoner’s location.
