How Do You Fix A Broken Concrete Statue?
Fixing a broken concrete statue is a simple process and takes a few minutes to complete, other than drying time. Supplies can be purchased from a hardware store or most other large stores. The process for repairing pieces kept inside or outside is the same, but it is important that the piece dries completely before returning it outdoors. Step 1 Scrub the break surface of both statue parts with warm soapy water and a soft brush to remove dirt and debris. The statue must be thoroughly cleaned. Allow the statue to dry completely. Step 2 Apply 15-minute epoxy to both broken pieces in a thin layer. You can use a toothpick to smooth the epoxy over the layers if you wish. Be careful not to put the epoxy too close to the outer edges of the broken pieces or it will ooze from the seam when the pieces are pressed together.
