With this device, a user can play games, listen to music, watch movies, look at photos and access the Internet. However, the PSP’s screen can become cracked or damaged through normal wear and tear. If this happens, it is not necessary to buy a whole new unit as the LCD screen can easily be replaced. Step 1 Remove the screws that hold the PSP’s faceplate down. These are located on the back four corners of the PSP. The left two are underneath the battery pack so you will need to remove the battery to find them. Also, remove the one screw directly in the middle on the bottom of the device. Step 2 Gently pull up to separate the faceplate from the PSP. Using the flat edge of a butter knife or razor blade, wedge the borders of the screen up so that the LCD screen becomes loose and can be pulled out of place.
