OK this is coming from a person who sells it. Depends on how much it is burnt. 1) take the pan put 2-3 inch’s of water in it and a tablespoon of dish soap and place on the stove with low heat. Do not let it boil over. Watch it and after 30 min pour out the contents and try with a wooden spoon to remove the stuff. Repeat 2 times then #2 2) dry the area with the burned stuff and take baking soda and very little water and make a slurry mix, with a wash cloth take this slightly abrasive mixture and scrub the area. Depending on how much blacking there is it may take a while and a re-freshening of the baking soda mix on the cloth. 3) after the above 2 methods, on whatever is left, use a Magic-Eraser. Never use the eraser on the outside polished part as it WILL scratch the surface. OK Never use harsh chemicals on your cookware.
