When winter rolls around and the snow starts piling up, you don’t want to be stuck using a shovel. While snowblowing you can easily run over a sharp object or nail making a tire on it flat and taking the snowblower out of commission. But fixing a snowblower tire is easy with the proper techniques and tools. Prop the axle of the flat tire on a block of wood. Unbolt the tire and lay it flat on the floor. Stick the flathead screwdriver between the rim and the inner tire lip. Pry the inner tire edge over the outside of the rim. Flip the tire over and push the tire off the rim completely. Run your hand gently and slowly along the inside of the tire. Feel for for a nail or sharp object. Once you feel it, look on the outside of the tire to locate where the nail or object made the hole.
