0

Garden statuary can add interest and whimsy to your gardens. An added benefit is that they are able to be there no matter the season–it doesn’t depend on the spring or summer to keeps its beauty. However, there may come a time when your concrete garden statuary becomes cracked. The good news is that it is possible to repair these cracks so that your statuary remains beautiful. Use a screwdriver to loosen any pieces of concrete that might be in the crack. Clean the cement statuary with soap and water. Measure one part of water to 3 1/2 parts of anchoring cement in a container. Mix enough to fill the crack. Let the cement sit on the surface of the water for at least 30 seconds. Stir the mixture together until you get the consistency of pudding. Pour the anchoring cement into the crack and smooth it with a trowel. Remove any excess.
