When you send a print job to your desktop or network printer, that job actually goes into a print queue and prints from there. This arrangement allows more than one job to be sent at the same time, and each of those jobs is serviced as the printer becomes available. If the jobs you send to the printer fail to appear, the first thing you should check is the print spooler service. Step 1 Log on to your computer and click on the “Start” button. Choose “Control Panel” from the menu. Step 2 Double-click on the “Administrative Tools” icon and choose “Services” from the list.
