How Do You Fold An Origami Dollar Diamond Ring?

0

It’s always fun to add a little extra when giving a tip or sharing a little something special with a child. Origami is an enjoyable past time and rivals doodling during boring meetings. I’ve created a few original folds and this diamond ring is my favorite. I hope you enjoy it. By the way, it works just as well with Ben Franklin as with George Washington. Begin by folding your dollar in half with just a light crease to mark the middle. Then unfold. Next fold the edges to the center. Fold in half the other way just enough for a light crease and unfold. Fold the side edge along the mid-line on both sides and in both directions. This time make a hard crease because this is the foundation for the edges of the “diamond”. On one side fold along these new creases beginning at the outside and working towards the middle until you have a flat base and the rest of the side sticking up in the air. Next squash fold the side down. Fold it back. Repeat these steps for the other side of the bill. Narr
