How Do You Frame A Mirror With Mosaic Tile?
Mosaic art uses broken pieces of glass, clay and other materials to create an image. Frame a mirror with mosaic tile to add a splash of color to a plain mirror. If the mirror already has a frame around it, glue the tiles to the frame. If the mirror has no frame, create a frame pattern on the mirror itself. Base your choice of mosaic tiles on the mirror size and thickness. A large, thick mirror can handle large mosaic tiles, but a thin or small mirror requires smaller mosaic tiles. Arrange the mosaic tiles on a table in the pattern you would like them placed on the mirror’s edge. Squeeze adhesive glue onto the back of your mosaic tile and attach it to the frame. Start in a corner. Continue to glue tiles to the frame until the frame is complete. Put on a pair of rubber gloves. Apply grout with your gloved hands to the small spaces between the tiles.
