How Do You Get A Homelite Model 330 Chainsaw Running?
The Homelite Model 330 was the lighter class of saws developed in the 1980’s for homeowners. These saws are pretty sturdy and reliable if cared for, but because of their age they will have to be maintained regularly. Getting these saws running again is simply a matter of isolating your problem with these three basic troubleshooting tests. All two cylinder engines basically run with only three components: air, spark and fuel, and if any of these aren’t working properly you will not get your Homelite running properly. Use the screwdriver to remove the cylinder cover on top of the saw’s body. Unscrew the air filter, remove and clean it with the toothbrush, gas and rag. Clean the engine housing around the air filter with the toothbrush and rag. Use the screwdriver to take off the starter cover and pull cord. Check the recoil spring and pull cord for any damage. Clean the starter housing area and fan with the toothbrush, gas and rag. Take off the muffler cover with the screwdriver and if yo
