However, passports are not just handed out and there are many regulations involved with receiving a new one. These are the procedures for getting a UK passport. Pick up a passport application form from a post-office branch which offers “Passport Check & Send” services. Fill it out. The form can also be completed online. Find someone to cosign the form. The cosigner must be someone who is in good standing with the community; who has known you for at least two years; and who is willing to write his own passport number on the form. Get two copies of your passport photo.
