Games designed specifically for Windows 98 may not run properly on Windows XP. The most common types of problems that you may encounter while playing such games on Windows XP are distorted images and/or no sounds. You can overcome this problem by running that game in compatibility mode, wherein the game is run in an environment similar to that of Windows 98.
