There are a few different treatments out there for your dolls hair. I do not recommend using human shampoos as the hair is not human hair. The best place to start is by purchasing Synthetic Wig Shampoo and Conditioner at a local wig shop or online. I have rehabed many a hear of hair on these dolls. There are further treatments you can do at home if these do not work. There is also a method out there for using “Son of a Gun” protectant on the dolls hair. I have used this method also. You can try using “braid spray”. It is a product available at Walmart in the Ethnic hair section. Some collectors call one, the Downy Dunk. It involves soaking your dolls hair in Unscented Downy for a time. After rinsing it softens. It is one I do not recommend. In the wig world it is known as “trashing a wig”.
