Removing scuff marks from cowboy boots will have them looking as good as new. Dampen a rag with plain water. Wipe the rag gently over the scuffed area of the boots to remove loose dirt and dust, and perhaps some of the black mark. Use a pencil eraser to remove as much of the black mark as possible. Gently rub the eraser back and forth over the scuff mark until it has lifted significantly. This may not remove all of the mark, but will surely lighten it.
