• Obtain a tinderbox. A tinderbox is a very common item in Runescape, you can buy them at any General Store, find them, or just use the Grand Exchange. • From level 1 firemaking until level 20 burn normal logs. • From level 20-30 burn oak logs. • From level 30-50 burn willow logs. • From level 50-70 burn maple logs. (Can now be cut down in free to play in the new dungeoneering cave.Can be bought in Grand Exchange in non-members.) • From level 65 or 70 until 99 burn yew or maple logs. Note that after about 70 firemaking it takes a lot of money to level up. If you have a bunch of money to waste go ahead, but it’s not recommended. Maple logs cost a lot less and give almost as much experience. After burning willow or maple logs you should probably start to cut them on your own if you have not already.
