How Do You Get On The First Rung Of The Property Ladder?
Because of the economic climate that we are living in at the moment more and more young adults are finding it increasing difficult to get on the first rung of the housing ladder without putting themselves in massive debt. This is a real problem as the housing market needs to have new buyers coming on board regularly to keep the market buoyant. This situation is a hang over from about 5 years ago when we had our last housing boom with prices shooting up by over 60 per cent in some areas, of course this is great news if you are already on the housing ladder but if you are yet to buy your first home these price rises make it increasing difficult to do so. Unlike many Central European countries the young adults of this country want to move out of home as soon as possible and learn to stand on their own two feet but with the way house prices are this is impossible for the majority.
