Having written novels, poetry, magazine and newspaper articles, education programs, grants, resumes, and memoirs, I understand writer’s block. I get it. Writers sometimes feel they’ll never have a brilliant idea again. Sometimes we get stuck. And sometimes we want to take our laptop computers and toss them off the end of the pier. We decide we have no talent and will never succeed. Everyone tells us to get a real job, but deep down inside we have a soul so connected to writing that we simply must write or else.
