How Do You Get Pam Off Of Stainless Steel Pans?

0

If you use Pam or other non-stick sprays to keep food from sticking to your stainless steel pans, there is probably a build-up of Pam on the bottom of the pan. Try these methods for removal. Sprinkle Barkeeper’s on the pan and use a cloth to rub the pan in a circular motion. Rinse the inside of the pan and check for Pam residue. There will be a greasy feel or yellow residue if the Pam is still on the pan. If there is still Pam residue on the pan, try step 1 again. It may take several times to cut through the grease. If this method does not work on the pan there are other methods available. Try sprinkling baking soda on the pan and letting it sit until the baking soda absorbs the Pam. Also Dawn Power Dissolver will sometimes remove greasy residues from pans. Finally, try pouring salt on the pan, cover the salt with water and boil it on the stove for a few minutes until the Pam is dissolved.
