How Do You Get Red Ink Out Of Laundry?
When it comes to clothes, few things are more unpleasant than spilling ink onto them–particularly red ink. Sometimes you may feel like you’ll never be able to get the stain out. But fear not! You may be able to remove it by following a few simple steps. Let the ink stain on your clothes (let’s say it’s on a shirt) dry completely. Mix one part alcohol with two parts liquid dishwashing detergent. Soak the stained area of your shirt with the alcohol-detergent mixture you created in Step 2 for about 20 minutes. Run the soaked-stained area of your shirt under hot water for several minutes. Throw your shirt into the washing machine immediately, let it go through a full cycle, then remove it. The stain should be completely removed.
