How Do You Get Rid Of Underarm Sweat Stains?

Have sweat stains ruined your favorite shirt? It’s not too difficult to remove sweat stains from cotton, poly-cotton, linen or other washable fabrics. You just need a little time, patience and a few simple ingredients. For a white garment, begin with an oxygenating soak. Mix 1/4 cup of oxygenating non-chlorine bleach powder with 1 qt. of water and 1 tbsp. of laundry detergent. Soak garment in this solution for up to 1 hour, then launder in cool water. Before placing in dryer, check to see that the stains are gone. The heat of the dryer will set sweat stains. If the stains are not completely gone, try the oxygenating soak again, or move on to the next step. If you need to let your garment dry between steps, simply hang it out of the sun to air-dry. If the oxygenating soak did not remove the stains from a white garment, then try a peroxide soak. Mix a solution containing half water and half hydrogen peroxide. Soak the whole garment, or the stained area, in this solution for up to an hour
