How Do You Get Sticky Labels Off Plastic?

0

Sticky labels are sometimes seemingly impossible to get off of plastic surfaces. Perhaps you just purchased a package of plastic food storage containers, or a plastic toy for a child that came with a tightly adhered bar code sticker. No matter what the case, if you know how to properly remove sticky labels from the beginning, the entire process will only take a few minutes to successfully remove the sticky labels without damaging the plastic. Hold a paper towel tightly over the sticky label. Gently pour white vinegar onto the paper towel, making sure the area with the sticky label is saturated with a thick coat of vinegar. Hold the paper towel in place for 2 minutes, and remove. Peel off the sticker with your fingers, and scrub the surface with the vinegar-drenched paper towel to get up the sticky glue that adheres the label to the plastic.
