I live next to the Excel centre, so I use the same DLR stop you will need, which, as others have said, is Custom House. The route I would take is as follows: From Victoria station – District or Circle line (either will do) East bound to Westminster – Jubilee line East bound to Canning Town – DLR towards Beckton Other posters are right about Tower Gateway being closed, so you can’t go that way. I also wouldn’t go to West Ham, as it is 7 more stops than the route I have suggested! One other thing to be aware of, they have stopped running the DLR straight through Canning Town towards Beckton, you HAVE to get off at Canning Town and get on a different DLR which goes to Beckton. Therefore, there is no time saved trying to get to the DLR a different way (i.e. from Bank), as you will need to swap at Canning Town regardless.
