Wine is great with dinner–but it’s murder on your good linens. Try the professionals’ secret for removing those nasty stains. Put the table cloth over the bowl so that the stain is right in the center of the bowl. Cover the stain with plain old table salt. Make sure the whole stain is covered well. Pour boiling water over the salt a little at a time. Keep pouring until the stain washes completely away. Wash as usual.
