Although the holiday season is the most common time to give and receive homemade candy, the gift of fudge can easily be enjoyed year-round. Whether for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, or any other occasion, homemade fudge is the perfect gift (especially for the women on your list). Make fudge using your favorite recipe (mine is Classic Fantasy Fudge by Kraft and I know it works perfectly for this project!). Spread fudge on a cookie sheet to the approximate thickness of your gift boxes. Leave undisturbed until completely cool. On a piece of cardstock, draw around the bottom of a gift box and cut out to make a template. If using more than one size of box, cut a template for each. When the fudge has set and is ready to cut, place the template(s) on the fudge and, with a sharp knife, cut out as many as possible. Note: There WILL be leftover fudge trimmings – darn, you’ll have to eat them! Wrap each chunk of fudge tightly in plastic wrap – then wrap it in plastic wrap again. (Double wrapping
