How Do You Glue Ribbon On Ceramic Tile?
Ceramic tile is a favorite item for use in craft projects. There are many colors, styles and designs to choose from. Because of the hard, vitrified surface you can’t pound nails into them or insert screws if you want to hang the tile on the wall. One way to solve this problem is to glue a decorative ribbon to the back of the tile and then hang the ribbon on the wall. You can also glue ribbon to the glazed surface of tiles. Cut the ribbon to your preferred length. Make sure the width of the ribbon is in proportion to the size of the tile if intending to use it for a hanger. Clean the surface of the ceramic tile with a cloth, removing any oil residue. Add a dab of Liquid Nails to the ribbon. Place the ribbon on the tile using a wooden Popsicle stick to avoid touching the adhesive. Position the ribbon with the stick and rub it tight against the surface. This will ensure good adhesion. Allow the glue to cure per the manufacturer’s instructions. Let the glue cure overnight if the tile is to
