The Ficus family is the family of figs. There are members of this family that grow as small-leafed climbers and as big-leafed trees. Some of them evolved where light is low and adapt nicely as indoor plants. Here is how to care for some of the most common indoor grown ficus plants. The light inside our homes is very low as compared to the light outdoors, so always grow indoor plants with as much light as possible.
