How Do You Grow Beautiful Crystals With Epsom Salt?
Learn how to make some beautiful crystals that grow in mere hours using only Epsom Salt. Bring a pot of water to a boil, measure how much you put in as you will want to use 1/2 of that in Epsom salt. Take the pot off the stove and stir in the Epsom Salt until it is entirely dissolved. Epsom Salt can be found at your local drug store or grocery store. Make sure it is Epsom Salt and not table salt. Choose a food color of your choice and add it to the mixture. The crystals will come out looking this color, make sure the mixture looks a little darker than the color you want, it will lighten up when the crystals grow. Transfer the mixture into a shallow container, a paper bowl would be optimal for this. Place the container outside as long as it is sunny and not raining. If it is raining place the bowl inside somewhere warm. You want the water to evaporate, as it does the crystals will form.
