How Do You Grow Monkey Flower (Mimulus)?
Monkey flowers grow to about 12 inches high and have sunny yellow and red blooms in the summer. Buy monkey flower seedlings in 4-inch to 1-gallon containers. Look for plants in nurseries in spring and summer. Choose healthy-looking plants with signs of new growth and flower buds. Plant the monkey flower seedling in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Add a light application of organic fertilizer to the planting hole.
