How Do You Handle A Delayed Airplane Flight?
As an aviation consultant, I fly on airplanes quite a bit. So, with all that experience, I’ve learned a thing or two about delayed flights. When delays or even cancellations occur, there’s really no point in getting frustrated and angry. It’s just wasted energy. Ultimately, it is someone’s fault, but you will never have access to that person. It could be the airline flight planners who booked too many people on a flight, it could be a tower controller who routed an airplane to the wrong gate, it could be God who created bad weather causing delays to ripple throughout the airspace system, etc. Whatever the reasons are, you have options. And I’m here to tell you about these. If it’s a short delay (30 minutes to 1.5 hours), there’s not much you can do. You’ll just need to find a way to entertain yourself.
