• Clean the surfaces of your hands or feet, whichever has the blisters, with soap to remove dirt, salt water, sweat and other substances. • Use a sterilized needle from a first-aid kit or buy 1 from a drug store. • If you cannot find an already sterilized needle, you will need to sterilize it with a chemical or fire. Choose a needle that is solid and metal, like a sewing needle. • To sterilize the needle with a chemical, fill a small cup with either bleach or rubbing alcohol. Drop the needle into the cup and make sure it is fully submerged. Leave it there for a minute. Remove the needle, but avoid touching the chemical with your fingers.
