You love coffee, but you hate what it looks like dribbled all over your light beige rug. It takes a little innovation to hide coffee stains in carpet, but it can be done with some simple tips. Scrub out as much of the stain as possible using a heavy-duty carpet stain cleaner. Assess how much of the stain still remains and how big an area you need to cover. For smaller stains near end tables or near the edge of a couch or chair, simply move the table, couch or chair a few inches over until it is on top of the stain. For larger stains in the middle of the floor, invest in a jazzy throw rug that matches the room’s décor. If moving furniture or using a rug looks ridiculous, you can cover the area with a standing plant, large sculpture, floor lamp or pillow, vintage umbrella stand or some other decorative item.
