The Rockford Fosgate P200-2 amplifier produces 100W x 2 @ 2-Ohms RMS (2×100) or 200W x 1 @ 4-Ohms bridged RMS. The design of the amplifier allows for both coaxial and subwoofer speakers. According to Rockford Fosgate, The P200-2 amplifier requires a 4-gauge wiring kit in order to operate at peak efficiency. The amplifier also requires low-level RCA connections from the head unit source. The installer has the option of purchasing the optional PEQ Remote Punch EQ for adjusting the amplifier equalizer from the driver’s seat. Install the 4-gauge power wire, RCA interconnects and remote turn on lead in the vehicle according to the wiring kit’s instructions.
