Houses usually have connections already prepared in the laundry room, or sometimes in the garage or the basement. With these connections, you will be able to hook up a washer and dryer easily, which will take no more than 30 minutes of your time. Place the washer and dryer in the area with the connections for them. The connections should consist of two water connections and standpipe for the washer and a vent hole for the dryer, along with plugs for both machines. Make sure that the washer and dryer are level. Use a level to check this and adjust the legs under the machines until they are level. Attach the washer first.
