How Do You Install A Car DVD System?

0

If you have children and are planning on taking a long road trip, a car DVD system will keep the kids entertained. The DVD player will also keep adult passengers entertained, and increase the value of your car. Installing a car DVD system requires a few hours and a good set of tools. Disconnect your car battery–both the positive and negative cables. Unscrew the screws holding your car stereo in place. Remove the stereo from the car’s dash. Flip the stereo over and remove the connectors from the back. Inspect the removed connectors to make sure they are clean and unbroken. Install the DVD player’s wiring harness to the car’s connector. Slide the DVD player into the head unit of the installation kit. The installation kit must be a perfect match for your vehicle’s make and model. Attach the free end of the wiring harness to the back of the DVD player. Attach the antenna cable to the antenna input jack on the back of the DVD player. Fit the installation kit and DVD player in the dashboard
