How Do You Install A Ceiling Fan Blade?

0

Ceiling fans are ideal in homes that do not have central air conditioning. A ceiling fan spins around causing air to circulate, adding comfort from heat on a hot day. They come in every size, shape, color and style you can imagine. Constructing a ceiling fan is easy. They usually come in pieces and require the new owner to install the blades and the light fixtures. Mount each ceiling fan blade to a blade iron. This is the bracket that holds the blade and also attaches to the fan motor. Use the screws and washers provided by the manufacture to secure the brackets to the blades. Insert each screw into place, and lightly tighten it. Tighten the screws snug only after they’ve all been placed. Screw each bracket/blade assembly to the fan motor housing through the pre-fabricated holes. Use a screwdriver to make sure every screw is as tight as possible.
