Installing a ceiling fan with a light is much like adding a ceiling fan without a light. The wiring for the light will be put together in the fan when you buy it, so there isn’t any extra electrical work you’ll have to do or supplies you’ll have to buy. The project should take about an hour to complete, and the tools you’ll need are limited. Make sure you turn off all the electricity to the bathroom before you begin. Working with live wires is very dangerous. Go to the breaker box and shut off all power to the bathroom before you begin working. Go into the bathroom and check to make sure there is no power. Remove the existing light fixture by unscrewing the base and detaching the wires. This will uncover the box in the ceiling and all the electrical wires.
