How Do You Install A Microwave Above A Range?
Installing a microwave above the range is a great way to increase the usability of your kitchen. It takes the microwave off of your counter, which will allow you to use the space more efficiently. But while many people may be apprehensive about trying to install the microwave, it can be accomplished pretty easily. Look in the cabinets above the range to see if there is already an electrical outlet inside. If there isn’t one available, you or an electrician will have to install one. While you have the cabinets open, empty them out, because you will be drilling into them. Use the stud finder to locate the studs in the wall above the range. Use your pencil to mark the studs. Take the mounting bracket and hold it directly up against the bottom of the cabinets and against the wall. Mark the holes that you will be using to secure the bracket to the wall.
