How Do You Install A Sun Roof In A Dodge Intrepid?
Installing an aftermarket sunroof in a Dodge Intrepid makes the driving experience more enjoyable. Dodge Intrepid sedans need to have the dome light removed. The coupe is a different matter but still requires special tools and precise measurements. Both models of the Dodge Intrepid can hold a 20 inch wide by 36 inch long sunroof. Prepare the work area by laying out the sunroof parts and tools required for the project. Verify all of the parts and read the manual carefully as installation varies slightly for each sunroof. Place a tarp or sheet over the interior, hold the shade tray on the roof interior, and verify there is at least 4 inches of clearance on each side. Drive a screwdriver through the headliner at each corner and dimple the metal slightly. Unclip the dome light cover on a sedan and remove the screws. Cut the wires with a razor knife and terminate them with wire nuts. Remove the headliner, support board and roof brace. Tape the template to the top of the Dodge Intrepid roof
