How Do You Install Carpet Tiles Wall-To-Wall?

Carpet tiles offer an easy-to-install, and often economical alternative to conventional wall-to-wall carpeting. They can also offer several green advantages. Here are 7 steps installation guide: 1. Clean the floor thoroughly - and make sure it is completely dry. Snap a chalk line between opposing corners of the room to create an x marking the room's center. 2. Measure and mark - the exact center of each wall, then snap chalk lines between the marks to create two additional perpendicular grid lines. 3. Lay perpendicular starter rows - of carpet titles along the second set of chalk lines. Make sure the tiles are butted squarely together. If necessary, adjust the layout to minimize cut tiles or to make cut border tiles of equal size at opposite sides of the room. Re-snap chalk lines as needed after adjustments. 4.
