Laminate flooring has become a very popular flooring option. You can have the look and feel of hardwood floors without the installation time and expense. You can install laminate flooring over almost any subfloor as long as it's smooth and flat. You will find laminate flooring in all type of homes from new modern designs to single wide trailers. Decide what rooms are going to have laminate flooring. Measure the length and width of each room and multiply them. This gives you the square footage needed for the room flooring. You will need to add a 10 percent waste factor to that. Stack the laminate flooring inside the house, out of the box, for a minimum of 72 hours.
