How Do You Install Mustang Projector Headlights?
The Ford Mustang is one of the most popular muscle cars ever made by Ford. The headlights on the Ford Mustang, regardless of the model year, are sufficient to illuminate the road at night. However, you may be able to improve the headlight performance by installing projector headlights (if they are available for your model year of Mustang); you can focus a beam of light onto the road surface and improve nighttime visibility. Projector headlights are available at many aftermarket performance shops. Open the hood of your Mustang and unscrew the factory mounting screws that hold the headlight housing assembly in place. The exact location of the mounting screws will vary according to your model year of Mustang. Slide the headlight housing forward and unplug the electrical connector from the back of the housing assembly. Remove the housing by pulling it forward out of the chassis. Slide the new headlight housing into the chassis and secure it to the chassis using the factory mounting screws.
