When the flooring arrives, leave it in the room you will be installing for 24 to 48 hours to let it adjust to the humidity and temperature of the room. Pry up any carpet or tile that may be in the room to give yourself a clean working area. Pry off the baseboards with the pry bar to get as close to the wall as possible. Place the underlayment cushion on the smooth floor. Cut the cushion so that it completely fits the room and has no overlapping sections. Place the 1/4-inch spacers all along the perimeter of
