How Do You Install The Active X Control For Windows Vista?

0

Active X is a software component developed by Microsoft that allows Web designers to imbed special mini programs into Web pages. These small programs are usually accessed through a Web browser like Internet Explorer, and they allow PC users to access custom application installers. Without Active X installed, computer users with Windows will be unable to utilize all features they come across on the Web. Open Internet Explorer and go the Active X Control download page (see Resources below). Click on the “Download Now” button at the top of the window. Run the Active X installer program once it has been successfully downloaded to your hard drive. Click on the “Next” button and agree to the terms of use. Choose where to install the Active X Control and then click “Next” again. Click on the “Finish” button to exit the installer program after the process has finished. Active X Control will now be added to the “All Programs” list in the Start menu.
