How Do You Install Tomtom ONE XL?
The TomTom ONE XL is the wide-screen console equivalent of the popular TomTom ONE GPS system. There are two types of installation required for this system: physical installation of the dashboard-mounted GPS unit in the vehicle and installation of the TomTom ONE XL support software on the owner’s computer. The TomTom ONE XL is designed for ease of use, so you can complete both installations in under 15 minutes. Boot up your computer and open the CD-ROM drive. Insert the TomTom ONE XL software disc and close the drive. Wait for a moment, as the installation program will launch automatically. When the program launches, respond to each on-screen prompt as it pops up. You’ll have to accept the end user agreement, select the installation directory and decide whether to do a full installation or hand-select the components that you want to install.
