Windows 95 is now quite old, but you can probably find an old Windows 95 disc on eBay cheaply or maybe even on your shelf. Windows 95 may be old, but you can find lots of basic uses for it for a very low price, such as using it build your own firewall or even a storage server. Format the computer using either a boot disk or partition manager. You can even use a Windows XP CD. Restart the computer with the disk in the drive. Hit the appropriate key to go into the BIOS. In the options in the menus find the boot option and set it to have the CD first or floppy first if you are using a floppy boot disk. Restart and boot from the disk. Windows XP will let you format the drive and then exit without installing XP. If using a boot disk when you get to the command prompt type “format c:” and hit return. Resta
