Teaching values to children begins as soon as they can understand speech. Instilling values in children isn’t done just by talking to them; it’s done by example. Children learn by watching you and knowing your own values. Here are some helpful tips to help you instill values in children. Talk to your children about the value of honesty and trust. Explain to the child that people who lie are not trusted, and people who can’t be trusted aren’t liked. Teach by example and hold everyone in the family to being honest.
