Toddlers are curious by nature, and often seem to be fascinated with everything around them. Teaching them may seem frustrating; they seem less interested in what you have to say, and more interested in exploring things on their own. It is possible to grab that child’s attention and use that time to teach some meaningful lessons they will remember. Follow the toddler’s cues. Use whatever the toddler is interested in to teach them a lesson. Become just as fascinated with whatever has their attention at the moment, and instead of trying to shift their attention away from it, find a way to make it even more fun as well as educational. Maybe you want to teach them about the shape of the object. Maybe you want to teach them about texture. Is it rough or smooth? Wet or dry? Hard or soft? There is a lesson in everything, you just have to be creative. Make up a song. Most toddlers love music, particularly catchy tunes that rhyme. You could use the tune of a familiar song, and create a song tha
