How Do You Lemon Souffle With Lemon Sauce?
If you love lemon this dessert will knock your socks off! It is a challenging dessert to make but if you get it right you’ll be rewarded with lemony, fluffy heaven on a plate. Generously butter a 2 quart souffle dish. Coat with sugar and gently tap out excess. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Whisk in flour until smooth and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in cream, sugar and zest. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly. Remove from heat. In large bowl, whisk egg yolks until lightened in color and slightly thickened. VERY slowly (I mean like a tablespoon at a time), whisk in cream mixture, whisking thoroughly after each addition. Stir in lemon juice and set aside. Place rack in lower 1/3rd of oven.
